What do I need to know when buying a new handset?

The phone handset is the everyday interface for your telephone system so having a functional model that you are comfortable with is important. More then that though, many Alcatel handsets are unique to certain phone systems, meaning if you attempt to connect a handset to the wrong system, it won't work, even if it is from the same manufacturer. To ensure a handset is compatible with your phone system, follow these procedures:

Match photos of handsets in the office to the handsets on our website: A very simple method, if the pictures match, then you have compatibility! You can see the full range of Alcatel handsets with photos included below.
Match Model Numbers: All telephones have a model number on the back, which you can match to the model numbers that you will see on our list of handsets below.
