The OfficeServ CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) application suite offers an outstanding range of applications that make it easy to use and customise your Samsung OfficeServ 7000. The system simplifies CTI so that almost any organisation can experience its benefits - either individually or across a network so your entire office can communicate more efficiently.

The Samsung OfficeServ 7000 Series Telephone Systems are also Microsoft TAPI (Telephony Application Programming Interface) compliant to accommodate compatibility with a wide range of industry standard CTI applications.

OfficeServ Call

 

Samsung OfficeServ Call Overview

Samsung OfficeServ Call is a call manager application. It has support for contact management, scheduling and call logging, as well as providing access to some digital telephone facility programming.

You can access all the basic and extended services of your Samsung Telephone System using Samsung OfficeServ Call. You can make calls, answer calls, release calls and manage multiple calls at your desktop. You can also establish multiparty audio conference through Samsung OfficeServ Call without having to remember any PBX feature codes. Some special features like redialling and continuous dialling are also supported.

Samsung OfficeServ Call allows you to maintain multiple phone books of your choice to keep track of your contacts.Samsung OfficeServ Call directories provide Drag and Drop functionality for easy call control. The Directory Services feature also allows Samsung OfficeServ Call to identify the caller if the contact information is available in Samsung OfficeServ Call or other applications using a Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) mechanism.

Samsung OfficeServ Call allows you to schedule a telephone call or activation of some of the station setup options for execution at some later point of time. A note that will show at the time of execution may be entered to explain why this call or feature was scheduled. A pop-up window gives you the option to cancel any scheduled item at the scheduled time of execution or to change the time of execution.

Samsung OfficeServ Call’s Call Log maintains a record of all incoming and outgoing calls from the digital telephone while the application is active.

Call log records contain a Notes field for recording information about a particular call and a Keyword field to enable the logs to be searched. Samsung OfficeServ Call allows you to print individual Call Log records, selected Call Log records or an entire Call Log. This will allow you to archive hard copies of the logs for later perusal.

So it is imperative that incoming calls are managed as effectively and professionally as possible by your operators. That’s why Samsung has developed OfficeServ Operator – a PC based console that makes handling high volume call traffic as smooth and professional as possible, improving the image of your organisation.

Simple and Intuitive Operation

With the simplicity of point and click operation, OfficeServ Operator replaces traditional handset ‘key and lamp’ working to offer each operator extensive call handling functionality, vastly improving their day-to-day management of incoming call traffic.

Samsung OfficeServ Operator is fully integrated with your Samsung OfficeServ telephone system enabling an advanced level of features and functionality that ensure incoming and internal calls can be more effectively managed to their final destination, including:

 

Busy lamp field indication – to quickly view the status of each extension on the system.
Extension information – displays call forward and call diversion status of every user on the system
Departmental queues – organises call traffic more efficiently and distributes calls to other operators.
Information view – context sensitive prompts for the novice user.
Straight to mailbox – transfers calls directly to a recipients voice mailbox, instead of hanging on the line.
Conference call set up – initiated by the operator in an instant.
Notes facility – add reminders of the name, company orpurpose of a call on hold.
Hold – hold a call with reminder, and/or with a target, park a call on an orbit or station, and automatically
repeat hold actions on recalled calls using a single key.
Recently forwarded destination – intelligently remembersn the last 3 numbers the caller has been transferred to.

With up to five operators able to function simultaneously, OfficeServ Operator can
meet the demand of varying call levels and staff availability.
Operators can also be provided with the authority to control the status of each
extension within the system. The ability to control users call options, set call forwards
and place Do Not Disturb notices allows everyone to utilise the full power of your
Samsung OfficeServ.
The powerful, one-touch call record feature allows the operator to initiate your
Samsung voicemail system to record the call that is currently connected. This feature
is ideal for Operators who want to record details of the occasional call, whether it is in
an emergency or purely to assist with note taking.

 

OfficeServ Easyset

The EasySet application uses Internet Browser technology to provide system users with a quick and easy way to configure their Samsung Digital Telephones and their IP phones.
